• Responsible for trend research and store shopping, including market research, mood board creation, designing, sketching, specing and fit in collaboration with Divisional Head.

  • Responsible for researching global markets to identify new trends, silhouettes, techniques etc

  • Interprets concepts and fashion trends as it relates to market demands, company image and business strategy

  • Actively participates in the conceptual development of innovative and directional product lines (i.e., sell ideas/concepts)

  • Experience working with buyers to collaborate on specific product design

  • Work with Product Development team to price engineer designs for specific customers

  • Responsible for fabric and trim selection

  • Experience with garment wash and print techniques


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Cut&Sew

  • Expert design and conceptual skills

  • Excellent organizational, time management, communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to inspire ideas/new concepts; ability to conceptually visualize and build a line

  • Excellent sense of style and color

  • Design school training

  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

  • PLM experience is required

  • Ability to create Tech packs in PLM, including call-outs, technical direction and BOM

  • APEX knowledge
