Jr. Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare digital files for web, including optimization, slicing, and delivery

  • Crop and resize imagery for use across all digital channels

  • Layout website content within our new site launch templates, including banners, content blocks, and landing pages

  • Fulfill digital advertising needs including display banners, image carousels, and link ads

  • Design emails and email banners

  • Be a brand guardian by maintaining brand voice and guidelines across all assets

  • Collaborate closely cross-functionally with other teams

  • Provide support with research, swiping, concepts, mock-ups and presentations

  • Stay abreast of new design trends, functionalities, best practices, and competitor work

  • Adherence to project calendars

 

Assistant Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in product development at all stages with guidance of designers including sketching, detail sketches, tech-packs, trend presentation handouts and presentation boards

  • Sketch and spec new designs, update existing sketches and specifications when needed

  • Coordinate samples process to ensure samples are produced and delivered on a timely basis

  • Check in proto samples, arrange samples and racks

  • Send out and follow-up on packages for overseas vendors

  • Communicate on daily basis with overseas offices to share line development direction

  • Assist with generating and updating linesheets and color cards

  • Organize and coordinate seasonal color purchases and pom ordering

  • Meet due dates for all stages of design

  • Participate in group meetings and trend shopping

  • Attend fittings

  • Keep a record of all yarn development

  • Keep a record of all prints, stripes, artwork generated

  • Perform market research to understand customers and to identify new trends, yarns, techniques, etc.

  • Some clerical duties include, expense reports and keeping detailed purchasing records of supplies, trim, etc.

 

Designer (Cut & Sew)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in product development at all stages with guidance of designers including sketching, detail sketches, tech-packing, trend presentation brochures and presentation boards

  • Coordinate samples, check in proto samples, arrange samples and racks

  • Attend fittings

  • Assist with generating and updating linesheets and color cards

  • Send out and follow up on packages for overseas vendors

  • Participate in group meetings and trend shopping

  • Keep a record of all fabric development

  • Keep a record of all prints

  • Some clerical duty includes expense reports and keeping detailed purchasing records of supplies, trim, etc.

  • Meet due dates for all stages of design

 

Fabric Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the seasonal development of fabrics & yarns in cooperation with the China team

  • Provide seasonal trend direction to design while meeting costing parameters

  • Utilize technical expertise to translate design intent; cost engineer fabrics within brands parameters

  • Troubleshoot development issues & work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly

  • Recommend best print techniques, dyeing, construction and washes

  • Maintain fabric, trim, yarn and wash libraries

  • Manage development calendar and tools to meet deadlines

  • Partner with Design/Merchandising on new product categories for the brand

  • Daily communication with overseas factories.
